While studying to become an English Teacher, I started teaching writing at the Salve Regina University Writing Center in Newport, Rhode Island in 2005. As a writing tutor, I helped undergraduates revise and edit their papers while teaching them how to build their confidence as growing writers.

From there, I traveled back home to Long Island, where I teach at a suburban high school. This is my 18th year teaching English—a time that has allowed me to help adolescents and adults at all levels. I currently teach AP English Language and Composition, English 9 Honors, Creative Writing, and Public Speaking. Most recently, I was hired as an adjunct writing tutor, where I work part-time at a local community college. I am here to offer any guidance needed with essay writing, college preparation, and any other academic help.

Most importantly, I am also married to an English Teacher, and we have four young children together. Together, my wife and I have a combined teaching experience of over 30 years.

In my free time, I enjoy golfing, skiing, and planning for future travel experiences.
